On the afternoon of July 9, the Health Bureau of Haizhu District, Guangzhou, organized a mobilization meeting for participation in the 2025 Guangzhou Medical Expo, sounding the "assembly call" for regional biopharmaceutical enterprises to participate in the expo. Attendees included Zhou Ruijian, Deputy Director of the Haizhu District Health Bureau; Su Shiying, First-Class Section Chief of the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission; Wang Shujuan, Chief of the Science and Technology Innovation Section of the Haizhu District Bureau of Industry, Commerce, and Information Technology; Lin Wei from the Guangzhou Medical Expo Organizing Committee; and principals of over ten biopharmaceutical enterprises.

Zhou Ruijian, Deputy Director of the Haizhu District Health Bureau, emphasized that they will resolutely implement the arrangements and requirements of the municipal government and the municipal health commission, pool the district’s efforts to support the preparation of the Guangzhou Medical Expo, and create a display window for Haizhu’s biopharmaceutical industry.

Su Shiying, Section Chief of the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission, stated that the Medical Expo is an excellent platform for enterprises to showcase their innovative achievements. He welcomed biopharmaceutical enterprises in Haizhu District to actively participate, adding that the municipal health commission will provide full support to offer enterprises the optimal exhibition environment and cooperation opportunities.

Policy Empowerment to Facilitate Participation

Wang Shujuan, Chief of the Haizhu District Bureau of Industry, Commerce, and Information Technology, elaborated on the regional support policies for the biopharmaceutical industry, including support for the promotion and application of innovative products and services for industry-academia-research cooperation. These policies will create a favorable environment for enterprises and encourage them to participate in the 2025 Guangzhou Medical Expo.
