On the morning of July 17, the Health Bureau of Tianhe District organized hospitals and enterprises to hold a mobilization meeting for participating in the 2025 Guangzhou Medical Expo. Attending the meeting were leaders including Tang Fubin, Second-Class Researcher of the Pharmaceutical Policy Division of the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission; Luo Hangle, Deputy Director of the Tianhe District Health Bureau; Su Shiying, First-Class Section Chief of the Pharmaceutical Policy Division of the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission; Chen Chunli, Chief of the Economic Comprehensive Section of the Tianhe District Development and Reform Bureau; Cheng Wei, Chief of the Private Economy and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Section of the Tianhe District Bureau of Science, Industry, Information Technology and Commerce; and Xue Jiansheng, Chief of the Medical Administration Section of the Tianhe District Health Bureau. Also present were Lin Wei, Head of the Guangzhou Medical Expo Organizing Committee, and principals of hospitals and enterprises in the district.

Luo Hangle, Deputy Director of the Tianhe District Health Bureau, presided over the meeting and delivered an opening speech. He emphasized that this expo is an important platform to promote the upgrading of the regional medical and health industry, calling on hospitals and enterprises to actively participate, fully showcase their innovative technologies, achievements, and professional advantages, and promote in-depth integration of industry, academia, and research to contribute to building a regional highland of the medical and health industry.

Su Shiying, First-Class Section Chief of the Pharmaceutical Policy Division of the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission, stressed the need to build this expo into a full-chain exhibition platform in the medical and biopharmaceutical field and plan nearly 20 high-quality professional conferences and activities. He also suggested adding a session to publicize Tianhe District’s industrial policies.

Lin Wei, Head of the Guangzhou Medical Expo Organizing Committee, gave a detailed introduction to the advantages, highlights, and preparation progress of this year’s expo.

Participating units such as Heima Lin Shunchao Eye Hospital, Fuda Cancer Hospital, Zixin Plastic Surgery Hospital, Modern Hospital, St. Stamford Hospital, Longdong Hospital, Zhongda Furuirui, and Fantuo Digital discussed issues such as exhibition area planning and participation details.

At the end of the meeting, principals of relevant departments delivered speeches respectively, demonstrating their determination to synergistically support the holding of the expo through multi-departmental collaboration and promote the vigorous development of Guangzhou’s medical, biopharmaceutical, and health industries.

The convening of this mobilization meeting marks that the preparation for this expo has entered a critical implementation stage. All districts in the city will give full play to the advantages of agglomeration in the medical and health industry, coordinate high-quality resources, fully guarantee the construction of the expo platform, and provide strong impetus for promoting industrial innovation and development.
